i2c BME280 device changes address

Hello I need some help in diagnosing an issue. I recently replaced a BMP180 i2c sensor with a BME280 device also connected via i2c set up to for collecting temp/humidity/pressure data every 15 minutes. A few times now it has randomly changed i2c address from 0x77 to 0x76. Is this normal? What could ...

After much more fiddling I got it working, to flash: 1 - Set pi GPIO27 to low (firmware light should come on) 2 - Cycle pi GPIO17 through low back to high to reboot (firmware light will go off) 3 - Flash esp-link 2.1.7 using: sudo esptool.py --port /dev/ttyAMA0 --baud 460800 write_flash -fs 8m -ff 4...

Difference between Pi1 and Pi2 for GRBLWeb

I encountered a strange problem today. I have been using a Raspberry Pi to run GRBLWEB ( http://xyzbots.com/grblweb.html ) to send GCODE to my eShapeoko CNC machine. The Pi1 was just about ok for using JSCUT in the Pi Web Browser to create the gcode. But it has been slow going. So I got the new Pi2 ...

Re: The Raspberry Pi 2 Q&A thread

FYI - this may help others. I had a problem booting with my new Pi2B+. The boot would only go so far before it hung. I had run the update command etc, I finally worked it out I had to boot into the old B+ and reset the overclocking to Normal using raspi-config. Only after doing this could I boot int...

Thanks, does it have to be copper? The only thing I have handy is one of the cores from some old bell wire.

Thanks.

I have been having the repeating key problem since upgrading to 3.10 using my wireless keyboard. Was OK before the update.

Is this logged anywhere?

Hi, Great afternoon. Believe it or not this was the first time I had seen a 3D printer in the ABS / flesh. Need to ask the boss about building one :| Good to see the Bigtrak + distant cousins, RepRap, time lapse project and the work being done to create kits for schools. Thanks to Albert and Gartner...

Re: FTDI USB Serial Hangs

I finally got it working late on sunday and then promptly blatted my SD card, so only today have I been able to spend some time looking at it again. I gave up on the echo '\x....' > /dev/ttyUSB0 route as this does not work for me. Eventually I trawled the net and found a bit of C code to turn on and...
