i was doing some more research, sudo hdparm -t /dev/sda1 /dev/sda1: Timing buffered disk reads: 60 MB in 3.10 seconds = 19.38 MB/sec isn't that quite low for a usb2 device/port? is it possible that im getting low transference speeds due to lack of power, im feeding the pi out of a 700mA sgs cellphon...

Raspberry pi does NOT reboot

Hi there, i have my raspberry pi for some time now, withou any problems wht so ever, but from a couple of days from now each time i sudo reboot or sudo shutdown -r now the pi shuts down but doesn't reboot.... any ideas on wht might be happening? ive already reapplied the image but the problem remain...

I havent solved it yet, i found a ditro called Xbian and is what im using at the moment.

ATENTION: in the confix.txt of the xbian ditro there is an overclock on the pi, you might want to comment it out....

Hi guy, i'm going crazy over here.... i've cuted a old disket cable and pluged it into the GPIO but i don't get any signal in the other end (0v on the multimiter), so i picked up my arduino and tested line by line and i get the 5v without any problems....
