Re: Omxplayer doesn't work

Assuming your using Raspbian Stretch and your Pi is plugged into a Monitor/TV, what does the following do ?

Code: Select all

omxplayer /opt/vc/src/hello_pi/hello_video/test.h264
(from https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... xplayer.md)

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

Which Pi are you using? Did you get glxgears running at close to 60fps? Don't run any other applications when trying to run Minecraft.

Please don't forget this is a £30 educational single board computer - its a miracle it works at all!

The current Retropie image is built on top of Raspbian Stretch - so I would not expect to see any difference in performance.

Re: A compilable basic that uses line numbers for Pi?

Looks like you just need to make the install.sh script executable: sudo chmod +x install.sh For completeness I used: cd ~ wget http://users.freebasic-portal.de/stw/builds/linux-armv6-rpi/fbc_linux_armv6_rpi_0004_2015-02-24.zip unzip fbc_linux_armv6_rpi_0004_2015-02-24.zip cd fbc_linux_armv6_rpi/ sud...

You could try Richard Russell's Basic:

Line numbers appear to be optional !

Yes, just turn it on by using ‘sudo raspi-config’. Select Advanced Options, GL Driver, Full KMS. Then reboot.

Just a question though:
have you tried the following game?
Chromium B. S. U.

(sudo apt-get install chromium-bsu chromium-bsu-data)

Please tell me the outcome! :D

Re: Minecraft 1.13 on Raspberry Pi 3

Minecraft 1.13 requires LWJGL (Lightweight Java Game Library) version 3 which as far as i’m aware hasn’t been ported to the Pi arm processor.

You can get upto version 1.12.2 running on the Pi viewtopic.php?t=186547

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

I've rebuilt lwjgl for the arm processor - thats why its downloaded from my dropbox. You can try and re-build it yourself.

Minecraft is now owned by Microsoft, I would imagine thats why its not on an amazon server!
