How do I make my Rpi wireless on Raspbmc???

I have bought a mini wireless adapter (dongle) but how do I make it work on my Rpi? I don't know how to install it.. please help! thanks. My OS is Raspbmc.

Can't go past Arch Linux boot password?!!

I have a raspberry pi and I installed arch linux on my sd card. It boots up however when I type the username and password nothing occurs, just this hash tag symbol flashes.. please help me!!!

How do I install XBMC and Navi X onto my model B Raspberry Pi? I haven't set my Rpi up yet, the sd card is still empty, I want that media centre on my RPi, I've tried but failed, please help me! I tried writing images with wins imager but it doesn't work for me.. thanks.

I tried whoami, nothing occured, just the blue dollar sign appeared.
I think I passed the login and password stage but then nothing happens.. why???

I appreciate everyones help. My computer that I'm using for imaging is a windows xp. I have checked the removable disk containing the sd card and it does have a startup file in there. Hi, I can manage to write the image with the win32, it does recognise it and says its complete. And it shows up in the usb reader which is holding the sd card. But when I put it in the Pi nothing occurs! I followed the step by step guide, dont know what else to do..
