Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't buster only 2 months officially released (July 7)? https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/buster ... -raspbian/

So Stretch is not that old, and Buster likely has it owns gotchas.

I am trying to write a script that checks that status of my wifi. The commands I am using are: /sbin/ifconfig wlan0 up /sbin/ifconfig wlan0 dowm The commands work!!! Raspberry Pi Touchscreen Wifi Interface For Touchscreen

I just got a Raspberry Pi 3+ and I've connected it a touchscreen. The issue is I need a keyboard to do things like select wifi and enter the password. Is there a GUI interface for the touchscreen that would show a virtual keyboard for text inputs so a keyboard is not needed?
