Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspberry Pi OS / Raspbian Buster

SOLVED Don't think so, but try with the default Kodi settings. For this, quit Kodi, move your /home/pi/.kodi folder, for example to /home/pi/.kodi_backup and launch it again. Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspberry Pi OS / Raspbian Buster

The codecs are all there. If you have a pre-RPi4-model you can improve MPEG2 performance by buying the MPEG2 HW codec licence. I am running on a 4GB RPi4 so I'm a bit at a loss here. I did, however try this recipe https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=246837 before going with the one i...

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspberry Pi OS / Raspbian Buster

I tested your sample and don't see any problem with it, no frame skipping at all. Are you sure it happens to you also playing the sample? If yes, it may be some Kodi/Raspbian configuration on your part. If not maybe a PVR back/frontend bug/problem. Yes, and it also happens when playing a DVD RIP, s...

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspberry Pi OS / Raspbian Buster

DVBlink/TV-Mosaic issue: For this a full debug log + a sample of the stream will help to find the cause. Thanks Rascas. Here we go. Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspberry Pi OS / Raspbian Buster

Pi 4, Kodi 18.7 from apt-get, GPU V3D 4.2 OpenGL vendor: Broadcom OpenGL version: ES 3.1 Mesa 19.3.2 DvbLogic/TV-Mosaic PVR client. GPU memory split 512 (no change from 340) Tried both 4k/30Hz and FullHD. All works well, except for the TV stream dropping frames. Seems to slow down every 2-3s and the...

Re: Set VNC resolution?

This is still true for the Pi 4, just comment out the line in the [pi4] section:

Code: Select all

[pi4]
# Enable DRM VC4 V3D driver on top of the dispmanx display stack
#dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d
max_framebuffers=2
