Re: [howto] Openvpn server, using easy-rsa3

got it working somewhat. I can connect from inside the LAN. I am forwarding port 34557 to the raspi, is there any other port needed, maybe firewall related? for some reason I can't connect from outside the LAN (using my friends network)

Retropie atari joystick

I plan on using retropie mainly for atari emulation. I have a atari usb connector that works fine, when I configure the joystick I can point up down left right. I use the button for "accept" but I am then out of options for a button or axis to choose for "back" and cannot complete the configuration ...

Re: Raspi as a video recorder

I have a small ext HD I was going to use. I was planning on pruning every couple days if the file size got too large. I will have a timer in the background so I will always be aware of time elapsed. There are phone apps I could use I guess, I just wanted to use the raspi as it seems better suited fo...

Raspi as a video recorder

I need to setup a video stream for an science experiment where I can fast forward to an exact point where a reaction is happening. Could be 1 day, could be 1 week. I want to use an old android phone for it's video camera and have that hooked up over USB to the raspi and a hard drive. I would like to...

Re: piCoPlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite player

Also, (sorry don't mean to have 100 questions), in addition to static, does anyone know how to register the piCoPlayer under "My Players" at squeezebox.com? I assume I need to enter in my username/password on the piCoPlayer but I don't see where to do that.

Re: piCoPlayer a dedicated microcore and squeezelite player

I have a USB DAC and am using mnt/mmcblk0p1/tce/squeezelite-armv6hf -o front:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 -n piCoPlayer -a 80:4 -m ab:cd:ef:12:34:56 This works fine for a while but after a 1/2 hour sometimes an hour the s...

Re: Google Voice for Raspberry Pi

Asterisk can forward Google Voice calls to anywhere you like. Google Voice won't forward to other GV numbers. So... just load both Google Voice numbers on Incredible PBX and take it from there to your cellphone or any other phone. You could even build an IVR and let folks choose where to route the ...

Re: Google Voice for Raspberry Pi

Ah...the second point...must be it. I'm using my pre-existing google voice number and unless I'm reading it wrong, seems like you need to use a new GV account so this has limited usefulness to me as I'm tied to my pre-existing GV number which in turn is tied to my android phone. Is there a way aroun...
