Quick start of RPi

Hello :) I would like to have the Raspberry 4b start faster. I use Raspbian Buster. I use an external USB3-SSD. /boot is on the SD card and / on the SSD. Here the startup takes about 27 seconds. With Beta-USB-Boot without SD-Card the start took about 33 seconds. I think this is due to a timeout unti...

No sound when camera is active

Hello, the following problem: I want to connect a camera to a Raspberry 3b+ via a video adapter (cinch to USB). Unfortunately, the sound distorts as soon as the camera is over e.g. VLC is called. When the window is closed, the sound is normal again. The "welle.io" software loses the signal...

Re: Problems compiling qt5

I have successfully installed the QTCreator on a desktop pc, but I cannot compile welle.io correctly. According to the instructions, you have to comment out Airspy in the welle.io.pro, there is nothing from Airspy. You can only find this in "tests/backend/backend.pri" line 17. I commented ...

Re: Problems compiling qt5

For reasons (speed and storage space of the Raspberry) I would like to compile it on a desktop PC and copy over the compiled files of the software.

How do I best do it? :)

Problems compiling qt5

Hi there, I would like to cross compile the welle.io software. It should work later on the Raspberry (OS: Raspbian). Unfortunately I am unable to install qt5. I follow instructions (https://github.com/AlbrechtL/welle.io/blob/master/RASPBERRY-PI.md) The following must be carried out on the host syste...

Bad reception with RTL2832U (SDR)

Hi, I would like to receive digital radio (DAB+) with an RTL2832U (SDR) USB stick. Unfortunately, I have bad or no reception with it. If I compare it to a DAB+ radio, I have good reception everywhere. An active antenna is used. The problem also exists with a passive antenna. Although the welle.io so...

Re: Android app on Raspbian

A simpler possibility does not exist?

For example, an emulator that allows you to run Android apps?

Android app on Raspbian

Hi,

How can I run an Android app on Linux (Raspbian) without installing the Android operating system?

I'm looking for a kind of emulator that allows me to run Android apps on Raspbian.

I do not understand it entirely. Where and how do I have to run or add the "-device-option" command?

Error completing welle.io / QT

Hello, I have trouble completing welle.io (DAB Software). I can not install QT. From "Step 7" you have to execute the commands on the host computer, in my case a Raspbian running in (Windows) VMware. I come up to and including "Step 11," but from "Step 12," it says the ...

Re: Sound card as default

How did you disable bcm2835? sudo nano /boot/config.txt dtparam=audio=off If the built-in sound (bcm2835) is disabled, then your sound card will become the default without you needing to do anything. That's the problem. The external sound card is only sporadically recognized and used. With the comm...

Hello, PulseAudio is used as a driver on the Raspberry. How can I set my external USB sound card as default here? The following did not work: sudo nano /etc/asound.conf pcm.!default { type hw card 1 device 0 } sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf #change the index from -2 to 0: options snd-usb-a...

Re: Mirror the screen of the smartphone

Unfortunately, the installation does not really work.

From step "4. Build and install scrcpy" I'm stuck because the Raspberry "meson" does not know.

Even if I install it via "apt-get install meson", it will not work from step 4 onwards.

Thanks for all the answers! Welcome to the forum, Thank you for the greetings :) If you have an Apple 'phone forget it  - their 'walled garden' only allows display of the 'phone screen and no remote control. If you have an Android 'phone you could try https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-chromec...
