It's, most likely, a firmware defect.

Hi,

I have tried it, it didn't work.

Wi-Fi on 3 B+ not working properly

Hello and thanks for looking, I haven't been using my model 3 B+ for the past week. Now I tried to play around with it but realized that the Wi-Fi is not working properly (it used to on last boot). I am also trying to access it from a different location, if it makes a difference. This is what it sho...

Re: Controlling the Pi with Android via Bluetooth

So now I am trying to establish a connection that does not require the use of internet. Attempting to run SSH over IP over Bluetooth sounds possible but beyond my experience. But you don't need 'the internet' to make an SSH connection between an Android device and your RPi running Raspbian. Just a ...

Re: Controlling the Pi with Android via Bluetooth

Hello, I am trying to find a way to connect to my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ to my Android phone and control it from there. I managed to do that with SSH, but this doesn't suit my needs. So now I am trying to establish a connection that does not require the use of internet. My question is if there is a way ...

Re: Headless set-up of Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Should I assume that I cannot access my Pi through cable? I did the SSH thing but I haven't tried seting it up through Wi-Fi. Only through cable. I had trouble with networking on the newest version of Raspbian. You may be having the same problem but it is hard to tell if you do not have a display. ...

Re: Headless set-up of Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Did you activate SSH? - Stop the Pi - Mount the SD on your computer - Create a file called "ssh" or "ssh.txt" in the boot partition on the SD. - Unmount the SD, remount, check the file is there, unmount - Boot Try to login: pi@<ip-you-get-from-the-scanner> Thanks for your answer! Yes, I did that. I...

Headless set-up of Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Hello, I bought a brand new Raspberry Pi 3 B+ today. I don't have a monitor so I am trying to use it through my laptop. I have tried to use NOOBS, but it turned out that it requires a monitor (two hours wasted). Now I am trying to install the newest version of the Raspbian using ssh and ethernet cab...
