UP. And NOW I can't "reboot" or "shutdown -r now" because IT tells me there's no GPT bootable partition. I can shutdown, unplug power and power on fine. if I "reboot" or "shutdown -r now" it hangs. Kernel: 5.10.50-v8 and OS: VERSION="21.04 (Hirsute Hippo)...

Re: Whats the general concensus around using Manjaro ARM?

Manjaro's XFCE is decent speed wise. but there's too many bugs. 100% CPU usage one 1 core because of a bluetooth bug. google attach-bluetooth and you'll see their devs talking about it. "sysctl" settings not getting loaded after a reboot breaking WireGuard. And the video driver fbturbo bre...

EEPROM resetting itself?

I updated to the June release of the EEPROM. anyway, was messing with my CM4 and wanted to try out Budgie. it wouldn't boot and the bootloader was from March 17th. which I thought was weird because I definitely updated it... I then updated the EEPROM to the latest BETA - think it's working. Why did ...

I wouldn't rely on those frequencies being used - it's worth checking using "vcgencmd measure_freq arm". And why are you using different configurations? Why not start with the same on both and establish a baseline. CM4: arm_64bit=1 kernel=kernel8.img initramfs initrd.gz disable_overscan=1...

RPi4B 4GB outperforming CM4 8GB w/ NVMe?

Long story short; RPi4B 4GB outperforming CM4 8GB w/ NVMe? Is it just me? or? I have an RPi4B 4GB setup using Ubuntu server. it's used to build kernels and RPi image(s). I built an image, kernel and started the RPi4B 4GB xz compression the same time as my CM4 8GB and the RPi4B 4GB finished 15 minute...

There's LXQt w/ i3-WM and XFCE4 w/ i3-WM.

And ways to improve said image(s).
