Awesome! I got it installed and it ran fine the first time. The camera hasn't arrived yet (should by tomorrow). After closing the window and re-opening to <http://raspberrypi>, it gave a 504 gateway timeout error. I think this may be because there is no camera yet, so I will try again with it instal...

Thanks, both. I think I will opt with PiKrellCam, as it is built-for-purpose for my personal project already. MotionEye would be an extension or advanced feature, which seems a bit tangential to the cause. I think it has everything I need. It already triggers motion capture videos upon motion detect...

Building a Garden Surveillance Camera

Hi! I wish to build a "surveillance camera", or just a camera, for our rear yard, which may either be triggered by motion (moving animals) or just always on, or on optionally at night or during the day to monitor the movement and growth of our garden! I think this is a really cool idea, so obviously...

Hi, all I see on Amazon are handheld anemometers. Where can I find the cup variety with the necessary electrical connections to the Raspberry Pi?

Thank you, Andyroo. It is indeed a 3B+ The manual just says element 14. The pinout diagram states that the pins are on the right side of the board looking top-down, but on my board the pins are on the left side of the board. Is it mirrored/reversed or literally in that order just on the other side? ...
