Re: Wifi Access Point

Thanks Dave, cool, I had not found that yet and will have a look at it... In the meantime I managed to get a bit further, the driver was still missing. While the tutorial said, it was not necessary for kernel versions above 4.4.13-v7, I still had to get the Realtek hostapd for rtl871xdrv. Btw, is th...

Wifi Access Point

Hi everyone, I am trying to start a new "project", but currently stuck with some issues. I want to configure my Pi to act as a wifi access point via an wifi usb dongle while being connected to another wifi network (eduroam, which will also be a challenge, I guess) via another usb dongle. (--> Pi 1B ...

PHP7 for Raspbian Jessie

Hi!

I would like to install php7 on Raspbian Jessie, but it seems that it isn't "officially" supported.

Has someone already tried that already?

Thanks very much for your help!

Re: 2 websites on one webadress

Hi! I've got a similar problem, but didn't get it to work so far. I've installed owncloud with Nginx and wanted to add wallabag to the same pi... I had this running with apache once, so I guess it should be possible with Nginx as well... I was thinking about something like sub1.mooo.com for owncloud...

Destroyed Luakit

Hey there! It seems that I have destroyed Luakit on my Pi. It froze (while using Luakit) and I had to power it off. Now every time I try to start Luakit, I receive the following message: sqlite3: failed to execute query: database disk image is malformed E: luakit: main:184: no windows spawned by rc ...

Alphanumerical keys in XMBC

Hey there! Just a quick question: Do alphanumeric keys usually work in XBMC? I've installed XBMC in Raspbian following this guide: http://michael.gorven.za.net/raspberrypi/xbmc (many thanks, btw! ;)) Unfortunately searching is a bit of a pain since I can't use my keyboard to type but have to click/u...

Hey there!

I'm trying to hook up my Pi with a Brother MFC-J6510DW, but it just doesn't work.
Has someone had any luck using a Brother device?

Cheers!

Hey there! I've been trying to connect my sweet Pi to the services of vpnbook.com, but somehow I'm not quite getting there. I'd be very happy if someone could help me or point me in the right direction (actually I'd consider that helping as well, but never mind ;) ). What's my setup: A Pi (obviously...

Re: Dropbox Uploader - Download Directory

Hey there! I've tested some things... The good news is: The problem with the characters disappears when I log into the Pi via putty from a Windows-machine. So the problem seems to be in my Ubuntu-Shell and shouldn't harm the processing on the Pi I guess. The bad news is: Dropbox-Uploader still doesn...

Dropbox Uploader - Download Directory

Hey there! # Some background I've had some hick-ups with my Dropbox lately, so I came up with an idea. (Happens :D ) I would like for my Pi to download the "important" directories every night and save them for some days so that I can go back to a previous version if I (or of course more likely someo...

Re: Multi-console gamepad driver for GPIO

Hey there! I checked my not so well soldered adapter today and it seemed to be all right. The resistance was about 0.3 mOhm, so imho that should be all right. And all pins were connected as shown here: http://petrockblog.wordpress.com/2012/08/26/gamecon-driver-module-for-nes-snes-and-n64-controllers...

Re: Multi-console gamepad driver for GPIO

Starting Emulationstation gets you that dialog as it detects a joystick, but it cannot get any keypresses. Yes, i see. After not receiving any input from the controllers I actually was trying to skip that dialog by pressing some keyboard keys, but the Pi only reacts to F4 so far. I'd verify the con...

Hey! Thanks, marqs, that worked. I was able to run emulationstation again, after removing the gamecon driver. So now I tried snesdev-rpi to connect my controllers, but it's still not working.
