Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

So I'm having an issue where the retroarch-joyconfig is not compiled. What should I do?

Re: EmulationStation - an emulator front-end

I was wondering if there was any desire to open up the theming even more for this. I've been messing around and would love to get something like this running:

Re: Boot up

This is true. Currently I'm setting up my pi as a classic console emulator. I have it cold booting into EmulationStation (after autologin) and it seems to be working well. Just wanted to see what else I could modify to make that boot a little cleaner.

Re: Boot up

I get that, it's just that I know I've used other distros of linux where that has been hidden unless a user hits a key to display it. Is there any way to do that? (sorry for the newb question)

Boot up

I was wondering how possible it is for me to remove the console boot messages and display a logo instead. That or some kind of boot animation. Any thoughts?

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

So I am having some issues when I try to run a game right now. I get the following:

Code: Select all

RetroArch: ROM loading skipped. Implementation will load on it's own.
Segmentation fault
Any ideas? Just as a note, I have this installed using the RetroPie-Setup script.

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

So...I'm kind of stuck. I went through the binary install process using the script. Now...I don't have the ability to start X server. It tries and then tells me the resource is temporarily unavailable. Any suggestions?

Re: Raspbian binaries now available (MESS, MAME, neogeo)

So I'm having an issue trying to load up a cart. I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Device cartridge load (smb2.nes) failed: File not found
I edited my advmess.rc to have my rom directory load from my home folder as well:

Code: Select all

dir_rom /root/.advance/rom:/home/pi/mess/share/advance/rom
What am I doing wrong?
