Thank you, I'll try that. I've been fighting for finding a suitable low-cpu way to capture videos for two days now...

Re: IoT Data storing and graphing options (offline)

I've been playing with dygraphs and I think it's more or less what I needed. The main disadvantage I found is that it only accepts one CSV file as input, so you cannot compare the values from two different sensors if they are stored on different files. Maybe you could dynamically load and combine th...

Re: Default USB microphone in ALSA configuration

Ok, I had some progress. I managed to set the default devices correctly. The only thing which is missing is arecord recognising the number of channels, the format and the sample rate correctly from the .asoundrc (it seems to ignore it). Apart from that, it seems to be working fine. The file is as fo...

Default USB microphone in ALSA configuration

Hi, I need your help to configure my USB microphone and USB soundcard as the default devices on alsa, so when any third party software wants to record/play sound can find the corresponding devices. So my setup is the following: I have a Raspberry PI 2, with a USB soundcard (which includes 2 audio ja...

Re: USB devices randomly not being detected after reboot

As I mentioned, it's a Raspberry Pi 2 using a dedicated power supply (that I bought explicitly for the raspberry), and it has been working just fine for a year and a half with exacly the same devices plugged in. There were absolutely no instability issues. I don't think it's a power issue. Meanwhile...

USB devices randomly not being detected after reboot

Hi, I'm having a series of issues with my raspberry pi installation that I have been unable to narrow down on my own. It's a RPi2, with the Retropie distribution, which uses a Debian Jessie in it, and boots directly to Kodi. That installation was upgraded from Wheezy and I think that's when the prob...

Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.xx.xx+

Help! I successfully updated the driver several times, but now I can't download the new driver. I have kernel 4.4.50-v7 #970 so I guess I have to download the following file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/80256631/8188eu-4.4.50-v7-970.tar.gz However, I get a 404 error. Is the "server" down or ...

Re: Yet more DHT22 sensor code

Oh :(

So it's probably physically broken, for some reason. I'll probably try buying another sensor (any advice?). Or perhaps I could dissasemble the dht22 sensor from inside the case and try to plug it directly the raspberry.

Anyway, thank you for your time and effort. You've been very helpful :)

Re: Yet more DHT22 sensor code

Daniel, I couldn't understand what exactly I had to do according to the post you linked. It seems that the readTemp.py is no longer found on the website and it also seems to be programmed for the DHT11 not the DHT22. Sorry, I am confused. I am using the wired version of the DHT22, the AM2302B, which...

Re: Yet more DHT22 sensor code

On Joan's pigpio webpage you have code to use another GPIO to power it up. It is very handy. Could you please point me to said code? I guess you are referring to this website http://abyz.co.uk/rpi/pigpio/examples.html but I can't find the script you mean. I am sorry, I am still quite a beginner whe...

Re: Yet more DHT22 sensor code

I recently bought one of these DHT22 sensors. Actually, it's the one which came inside a larger "case" (https://www.adafruit.com/product/393) but which uses the DHT22 internally. I first followed Adafruit's instructions ( https://learn.adafruit.com/dht-humidity-sensing-on-raspberry-pi-with-gdocs-log...

Hello, I am having trouble configuring my generic PS3 controller via bluetooth. At first I tried with the regular method until I got the " unable to connect to sdp session " error. I edited the bluetooth.cpp file according to brian9640's instructions and now the controller seems to pair, because the...

Openelec freezes when watching pictures

Hello, I'm using Openelec with XBMC (build r11708) on my raspberry pi. Everything seems to work except for the pictures. I am not able to view any photos. The screen turns black, the image doesn't load and the raspberry stops responding to commands, so I have to reboot it. I usually load pictures, m...

Re: Mini teclado inalambrico USB
