I have a folder with html files, my friend told me I can use pipe to pass the output of one command to another. ls should list all the html filename and then pass them to midori. so it should be the same as ls web1.html web2.html web3.html so ls /htmlfolder | midori should equal to midori web1.html ...

There is a way you need to make your RPi start using a second terminal (tty2) and jump back at the end. Have you tried or considered putting a content refresh header in the HTML? Or using JavaScript to background load a refreshed document and displaying it when rendered? jQuery, AJAX?
