Thanks for your kind reply and it seems there are lots of mess of the kernel related driver configuration around the cirrus logic audio card. Do you think it would be possible to just use I2S and I2C without the alsa and dev tree? Thanks

Acturally I am working on some stuff related to speech recognition/synthesis on Raspberry Pi. However, it is not possible for RPi to deal with speech recognition/syntheis itself, and I am planing to do this online. I know that somebody else use Julius on RPi, but it is difficult for RPi to do practi...

I have just downloaded the QEMU image of Raspbian, however I notice that there are only about 300MB space left. I understand that it is limited to be less than 2G for the 2G SD card. However, is there any way to extend this image size to 4 or 8GB, because you can't compile anything big in 300MB spac...
