Re: Test Whether Raspberry Pi Has 512MB RAM

Well I thought this:

Code: Select all

-Hexxeh has updated rpi-update, so no need for the manual copy step afterwards.

-ARM/GPU split is now defined in /boot/config.txt using the gpu_mem option!
Would make life easy :D

Re: Test Whether Raspberry Pi Has 512MB RAM

Hexxeh has updated rpi-update, so no need for the manual copy step afterwards. I did a few "updates" until I've got the message that the firmware was already up-to-date. When I do sudo nano /boot/config.txt there is no GPU / MEM option in the file. My Pi does show 512mb mem: KiB Mem: 448996 total, ...

You need to "open" the ports in your modem/router.

For example:
You your Raspberry Pi's IP to forward port 22.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi

Apache2 is running (along with php and sql). Just place the contents of raspcontrol in a folder called "raspcontrol" or w/e you want, in your apache2 www directory. Don't use start.sh, just place the files there. Go to the raspcontrol directory of your apache2 IP. Thanks for yout reply, I actually ...

Can you epxplain what the code does?

Code: Select all

cls() = clears the screen?
gotorc = ??
text("") = puts text on line ...
etc.
I bought them in a larger order, so the price on Ebay is a bit higher but still very cheap.
