Re: Are there HDR levels with the V3W RPi camera?
Thanks for the info. Anyway to set the Pi5 hdr modes in rpicam ? "rpicam-hello --help" includes the following: --hdr [=arg(=auto)] (=off) Enable High Dynamic Range, where supported. Available values are "off", "auto", "sensor" for sensor HDR (e.g. for Camera ...

Re: Are there HDR levels with the V3W RPi camera?
The Pi 5 HDR is designed to be "invisible", i.e. in most scenes you cannot see it working, it only kicks in when it's actually needed. I am not sure whether the "levels" can be set on it or not. That is a Q for the camera team Thanks. It would good to know how to use the pi5 mod...

Re: Are there HDR levels with the V3W RPi camera?
There appears to be an option with a pi5 using rpicam... "The --hdr option causes the camera to be run in the HDR (High Dynamic Range) mode given by <mode>. On Pi 4 and earlier devices, this option only works for certain supported cameras, including the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3, and on Pi 5...

Re: [GS camera] rpicam-vid broken by latest updates? Always 180° wrong
My gs camera output suddenly decided to invert, colors and 180degs, after running fine for months.
Do we still need sudo rpi-update pulls/6027 to fix it ?
Using bookworm 64, pi5.

Re: Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera DNG Format and Raspberry Pi 4 Model B
This will grab uncompressed RAW files, in RAM, from a HQ camera on a Pi4 and save as TIF, by default in /home/username/Pictures/. Note the code change if using a Pi5. You need to install opencv ( sudo apt install python3-opencv) #!/usr/bin/env python3 import time import os, subprocess import signal ...

" Is there a way to render at a lower resolution with libcam-hello but still have the 2304x1296 resolution and squeeze more fps out of it?"
Lower resolution but keep 2304x1296 ? Do you mean 2304x1296 fov ?
