Sim, precisas do wpa_supplicant.

Re: Asus N10 Wireless Config

A usar raspbian então. A última versão? apt-get update && rpi-update?

Qualquer coisa, apita!

Re: SD Card performance in R-Pi onboard slot

There is now latency fix improvement that should be safer than the "missing_status" one. (Thanks to ddv2005). Can you try adding: sdhci-bcm2708.enable_llm=1 sdhci-bcm2708.sync_after_dma=0 to cmdline.txt and check if it works okay. It should improve USB/audio latency. Class 10 SHDC 8Gb Sandisk SD ca...

Re: Asus N10 Wireless Config

Re: Powering PI&hub with cigar plug adapter

Hmm, but in my actual setup, using the wall socket, I disconnected the red wire in the USB cable going from the HUB to the Pi USB port to prevent those problems. With this setup (cigar plug adapter), I can't do that (or else there will be no power, right? :D) P.S.: Thanks for changing the thread tit...

Re: Powering PI&hub with cigar plug adapter

That's good. But would my setup work?

My doubt is with the use of the Y cable to connect the HUB and Pi together, and use the other end to power it all (the HUB and consequently, the Pi). Would I have USB backpower problems?

Yes, but not enough for the Pi + HUB with GPS dongle and 3G adapter (that's the final setup I need for now).

Re: Yet Another Power Thread

Yes, the lighter adapter converts 12V to 5V and has 1A output (yes, it won't work like that - too low amperage, but would one with 2A or more output work?). Currently I have a setup like that, only the HUB is powered by a 2A wall power plug and the USB A to B connecting the R-Pi USB port to the HUB ...

Hello,

that is a nice hack! :-) Can you give us a little more info, about the temperature sensor you're using, as well as the webcam?
And, if you're up to it, a little description on how you set it all up ;-)

Kind Regards,

Re: GPS USB dongle

Cumprimentos,

Try:

Code: Select all

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libv4l/v4l2convert.so /usr/bin/motion
Your path to v4l2convert.so might not be exactly that one, so please locate it.

GPS USB dongle

Motion will stream video over a http port. I think that's even the default setup. When you type in the motion command to get it running it should tell you the location of the webcam stream. Yes, I tried that too. Failed miserably (although I had the impression it would stream only in the sense of t...

Re: Linux4Media LCD (l4m132c) influences USB + ETH @ RapBMC

Hello,

my first guess would be power issues. I tried to Google some more specs for that LCD, but couldn't find none (at least about power consumptions).
Does it have any option for external power, or does it only power itself via USB?
