There is now latency fix improvement that should be safer than the "missing_status" one. (Thanks to ddv2005). Por acaso tive um emprestado, e tive alguns problemas. Não precisei de instalar nada, ele carrega a driver mas queixa-se que é experimental (se bem me recordo).

Hmm, but in my actual setup, using the wall socket, I disconnected the red wire in the USB cable going from the HUB to the Pi USB port to prevent those problems. That's good. But would my setup work?

My doubt is with the use of the Y cable to connect the HUB and Pi together, and use the other end to power it all (the HUB and consequently, the Pi). Would I have USB backpower problems?

Yes, but not enough for the Pi + HUB with GPS dongle and 3G adapter (that's the final setup I need for now).

Yes, the lighter adapter converts 12V to 5V and has 1A output (yes, it won't work like that - too low amperage, but would one with 2A or more output work?). Só para atualizar o tópico: acabei por comprar o Bluenext BN-903S, através do Ebay.

Depois de umas semanas a bater com a cabeça na parede a tentar pô-lo a funcionar, finalmente consegui. Penso que o truque é iniciar o gpsd com a opção -n.

No hay sido necesario instalar librerias. Solo conectar el modem USB e correr Sakis3G. Hace ./sakis3g --interactive E tenta conectar (primera opción). Sakis detecta automaticamente la configuración de el APN e te pergunta se es la correcta. Poderás también tentar otras opciónes de configuración in e...

yo tengo un Huawei K3715 funcionando com Sakis3G. Despues de conectar o modem, lança el terminal e hace: ./sakis3g --interactive
