Re: Anyone done 3 B+ Stretch Wireless Access Point (WAP) successfully?

It should work as others did the job too.
Are all 3B+ RPi the same ? (I expect).
Is it not possible to share the iso of a working configuration?
It is not a final soltion but temperoraly would give some extra confidence that it really works, thus encourage others to do it themselve?
It's just an idea.

Re: raspberry pi, tv-stream, nl-ziet.nl

I had the same DRM problem on my Samsung TV. Als casting from my tablet to the TV was not possible, only connecting my laptop via HDMI worked, so just using the TV as the laptop screen. I could run it with Firefox and Opera under windows 10. Under Linux I did only a few tests. Kali at least worked, ...

Re: Sharing an existing folder using Samba

When you want to use the shared disk outside your home via the internet, consider the use of webdav via https/port 443. Some ftp clients can do webdav too. Or via command-line. Suggestion how to realize: https://www.instructables.com/id/Apache-SSL-WebDav-Server/ It is quite similar how many servers ...

Re: Update Firefox on RPi 3B

For the time being I've decided install LibreELEC met Retrospect in Kodi 18.1 (Linux Kernel 4.19.x). Replay is possible again of programs till 1 week after the direct broadcasting for NPOStart. Did not check other sources, weblinks: https://libreelec.tv/downloads_new/ LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0.1.img.gz...

Re: Update Firefox on RPi 3B

Tnx. I knew this topic, read so many o them, forgot to mention this one. The info was scattered and apparently the opioions are not unity on how to do it and the documentation of the results is not very well... I tried again some Kali arm iso kali-linux-2019-1-rpi3-nexmon.img.xz and upgraded with wi...

Update Firefox on RPi 3B

Since 0.5 year I use RPi for VPN and pi-hole. But sometimes I sue it for testing other things. On NL NPOStart one can look back programs for 7 days, very handy. Note: This are Free to Air boradacastings, so no login needed. There will only be of course geo-blocking. But I'm living NL so no problem w...
