Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

Hi first off thanks for this. Only issue I have is watching 1080i content, from a TVHeadend server...it plays for 2-5 seconds then the picture just freezes and I have to press stop to return to the menu. Has anyone experienced this or know of a fix? Happy to provide logs if needed. Cheers. I just t...

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Buster

I've finally got my rpi4 with everything I wanted working correctly, and it seems my last two issues are down to Kodi: 1) Is there currently any way to properly convert HDR to SDR? Although 4K H.265 decode is working well, colors are washed out... 2) Any way to launch SteamLink from Kodi? Old method...

Re: Raspberry Pi4 fail in the very moment I connect a second hard drive

I have the official power supply and unfortunely it's not enough to power 2x2.5" drives (1x2TB and 1x500GB).

Re: Rpi4 hung tasks

I have the same issue with mono. In my case, it's rclone that hangs the application until the move command (upload) is finished: [16955.612275] INFO: task mono:1347 blocked for more than 120 seconds. Re: Pi4 Thread - general discussion

I have the overscan problem that i 'fixed' by commenting out the new driver and forcing 1080 mode. Does that compromise performance? Should I be looking for a better monitor? Overscan compensation is now supported in the latest kernel. Aiui the raspbian image was updated this week, so should includ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 temperature

I'm currently using a pibow case with a heatsink. I was idling at 71ºC :o It's quite hot around here, ambient temperature is about ~25ºC. Heatsink is burning hot to touch. I tried the USB firmware and it worked, it's now averaging at about 65.º while idle. Note that I have 4k HDMI enabled. I'm still...

Re: [Pi 3B+] WiFi 433Mbit/s - VHT80 / 802.11ac

I'm reviving this thread as I have the exact same issue, my region is set to PT, and my Raspberry 3 A+ is only using 40MHz, syncs to 200mb/s. If I set the region to US, either using iw reg set US or modifying wpa_supplicant.conf, the raspberry correctly uses 80MHz, however, wifi seems to restart eve...
