Re: DGEN-SDL-v1.32 - A "Beginners Guide" to Compiling and Us

Welshy, I'm confused! Which dgen have best performance, with stock SDL or Dispmanx? I'm using petRock’s Retro Pi, overclocked to 900Mhz and it's clearly notable that frames are dropping and i'm loosing visual information, this is so annoying. If i set frameskip to 'no' on dgenrc the game is so slow....

Re: OsmOse – a Sega Master System/Game Gear emulator, now po

I'm still using Picodrive,I have full screen and dualshock3 is working as expected, got its button mapping from retroarch.

I noticed some slowdowns but this is affecting almost all emulators I have...

I'm still working on it.

Re: Using PS3 controller in Emulation Station no longer poss

Really? It's beem only a week since I starting using Dualshock 3 controllers via bluetooth with Retropie and Emulationstation. It's working properly, however I had troubles with some emulators (MAME and Osmose). After boot, I wait emulationstation to starts and then I press PS button. Only annoyance...

Re: EMULATION ON THE RPi (UPDATE)

Picodrive got a RetroArch port https://github.com/libretro/picodrive Seems to have no trouble running full speed on the Pi I'm using it to emulate Master System, indeed got a good performance but it's not running at fullscreen! (I'm using it with retroarch) Anyone can help me? Another question is: ...

Re: OsmOse – a Sega Master System/Game Gear emulator, now po

Well, I managed to get a decent emulation with Picodrive, PS3's DualShock 3 controller is working properly and I don't have the annoyance to use left analogic as directional (dpad is working!). I didn't tested save and load states and it's not fullscreen either (changing scale value on retroarch.cfg...

Re: OsmOse – a Sega Master System/Game Gear emulator, now po

I have great interest on this as well, but I'm using PS3 controller instead. I didn't find a way to customize Osmoze buttons neither find a way to fit my whole screen (heigh at least).

I'll work on this tonight and during weeking, if I find something I'll post it here.

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

I'm trying to build universal console as PetroRockBlock did (http://blog.petrockblock.com/) using retropie and emulationstation. However I'm having a couple of problems. First of all, my RPi is not dedicated to this, it runs xbmc, samba server, and deluge torrent server, maybe I buy another one. Lit...

Re: connecting portable usb hard disk

That's is awesome. I was trying to avoid that kind of work and increase of mess near my tv rack (where Raspberry lies). I bought a powered HUB with 7ports (it can be powered through USB only, but I plugged ac adapter together) it says adapter have 1000mA, my external USB HDD requires 850mA. Connecti...

Re: How would you use a Raspberry Pi device?

After almost 1 year I got my Raspi. It took so long, and import taxes here in Brazil are a freakin-shit! I paid in total with taxes almost $167,00 !!! Anyway, moving on... My first though was use Raspi as a firewall (OpenBSD + PF) since that is not yet possible, I'll use it as a Media Center / Simpl...
