What is maximum amperage provided by Pi 3 B +

I have to power some PI zero directly from PI 3. I made a USB based network and I want to connect more Raspberry zero to a Raspberry PI 3 B + to take pictures with all of them . I successfully made the network and I started to do some experiments remotely via VNC to copy the pictures to Raspberry Pi...

SSHFS (SSH Filesystem) doesn't work properly

I have been struggling for a week to do something to copy files automatically from Pi zero to Pi3. All I need is a way to use a Linux command to do this. I will call it from my Python program, no problem with that. I open a topic here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=250682&p...

Re: Can not copy without a password from a PI zero to a Pi3 through network.

I need only some commands that work to copy the files without password automatically, of course nothing manually. I will integrate and call them from my python scripts. I already did this with other Linux commands and worked fine. Thank you for your advice you gave me so far.

Can not copy without a password from a PI zero to a Pi3 through network.

I struggle to copy from a PI zero to a Pi 3 without a password for a couple of days and nothing works properly. I have to copy some pictures from PiZero to Pi3 each time when a picture is taken without typing a password. Doesn’t matter if I use the command from PI 3 or Pi zero even if the both ways ...

Could not clone successfully a SD card

I tried to make a image of my SD card with a Raspbian installed and configured in a certain way to do some things. I made an image with Disk Win 32 disk imager. Re: Can not copy from Pi zero to Pi 3 via USB connection.

It sounds good. I did not have the time to try. I will read them first. For the moment, I can connect from a Windows Machine through VNC and PUTTY with both USB connection and Wireless. I can open two windows that show the same things inside the Pi zero with the two connection, USB and Wireless. The...

Re: Can not copy from Pi zero to Pi 3 via USB connection.

I already tried some of the above but I will try the other ones. I did not use "local" or IP instead of allocated name even if I used it experimentally from Putty and VNC from the laptop (I can connect Pi zero to the laptop with the same configuration). I tried to do what I already found on internet...

I am on Pi 3 B + as a master. I can connect to a raspberry pi zero that work as a gadget slave via USB. With ‘SSH pi@pizero2” I can log in the Pi zero after typing the psw. I can use camera, do anything from terminal as if I am on Pi zero. I wrote those commands to copy the files from Pi zero to Pi ...

After many efforts I connected a Raspberry Pi zero to a Raspberry Pi 3. With the same configuration I can also connect the laptop to Raspberry zero without a Wifi or wired UTP based network. Only USB. I can SSH into Pi zero from Pi 3 and control camera, make whatever I want inside the Pi zero from P...

Re: Can a data cable be at the same time an OTG cable?

I understood from this movie that an USB data cable can be turned into OTG cable. So that I was thinking I have to make some changes or I need an adapter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Kv5lJKJhDg That is why I was so confused about this. That is a very good news to know that I do not need adapter...

Can a data cable be at the same time an OTG cable?

I have a couple of Android devices, tablets and smartphones and for charging I use cables that are also for data transfer. I have also, a lot of spare cables like that. What I want to do is to connect a PI zero to a Raspberry PI 3 +. As I find on internet I need an OTG cable. As I understood these a...

Can not enable VNC server even if it seems to be, can be caused by TightVNC?by

I made the worst mistake to install TightVNC to use remote desktop from my laptop that is by default installed. I didn't know that VNC is much better but when I installed it on some tablets I saw that it doesn't create another desktop but accesses directly the existing one, so I can see exactly what...

Can the low voltage have an effect on RAM values?

I put some more extensions and connections between one of my Raspberry and its original source. The longer the wires and the more connections, the higher the electrical resistance, then the lower voltage. Time to time I see the yellow lightning symbol on the top right corner on the screen. I have no...

Decimal dots for T1637 based Display and why the program crashes after hours.

I have a Display controlled by an integrated T1637 circuit. I found a python library that controls my digits. Their example was a clock and it was not hard to change it for what I needed. The display has instead of the two clock dots, decimal dots, because I needed to display comma numbers. Strangel...

Re: Can I use 5V to power a display with tm1637 and control it by 3 V

It was my library on raspberry faulty. I put it on an Arduino first to make sure ir works. Then I found a better library and works on Raspberry, too. The only problem now is that I can not control the decimal dots. But I can put off that for a while.
