Static Image Display

My Goal: To display a static Image at full screen that would override any over scan setting. Question: What program exists today that can do this for me? Does one even exist? What I know: I know that OMXPlayer when playing a video fills the screen regardless of the over scan settings. So my thought ...

Re: /boot/config.txt editing

I set the values one at a time as I didn't think safe mode was the way I would want to go. I have everything set for 1920x1080 and the frame buffer set how I want it as well as hot plug but every time I boot the Pi then attached the HDMI cable it always defaults to 720. I ever played with the locati...

How do I make a .img file that I can image onto an SDcard? I used the Win32diskimager and got a file that was the size of the empty space on my SDcard that is...

Re: Making an Image file

So if I take out the SD card from my configured RPi I can use Win32Diskimager to "extract" the image to a writable file?

Thank you for your help!

Making an Image file

So I have one of my Rpi's setup the way I want it and I have a few more that I want configured the same way. I would prefer to not have to manually go in and configure each one. So that brings me to my question. How can I create an image file of my RPi to write to another SD Card.

AutoPlay Slideshow from USB

I need a way to plug in a usb drive and have it auto play an image file at full screen with no user interaction beyond physical inserting in the drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

New to all of this

I basically want to be able to plug in a USB thumb drive and have it automatically display an image on the drive at full screen. What do I need to do to setup my device to accomplish this?

Thank you for any and all help! My Device arrives Monday Morning!!!
