Re: Android Pie on RPi 3B(+) with hardware acceleration

Is there any way to change kernel without compiling the whole project? I compiled the kernel but but how to make that into a boot.img easily? Just run this command on the top of the Android source code tree: $ system/core/mkbootimg/mkbootimg --kernel kernel-v4.14/arch/arm64/boot/Image --base 0x1000...

Re: Android Pie on RPi 3B(+) with hardware acceleration

Thanks for this build! I do notice a lot of issues with the settings app though. Looking at storage space causes force close and going into timezone settings causes force close etc. Anyone else experience this? It doesn't have such problems. Which image do you installed? I checked with 2019_03_02_r...

Re: Android Pie on RPi 3B(+) with hardware acceleration

Hi! I have successfully installed your Android Pie on my Raspberry Pi 3B. Anyway, you said that this ROM already has root access: I installed some root-checkers and some apps that require rooting, but they cannot detect that root access is active. Can you tell me more about it? Thank you! It's a en...

Re: Android Pie on RPi 3B(+) with hardware acceleration

Looks like I finally got the download to start, but I only get a few kilobytes per second so it will take like 24 hours or so. Seem like the server is hosted in China and I'm in Northern Europe. Would be nice to have a mirror somewhere so it could be downloaded in at least less than a minute. You c...

I feel a bit embarrassed asking this since I'm guessing it's a rather simple matter. But how would I go about rooting it? Basically I'd just want to do so to get the open gapps package on there. Or more specifically for the play store.
The image is eng build, you already have root access.

Hello! Thanks for your work, hzak !

Is it possible to add Bluetooth A2DP Sink mode to this firmware (model B)?
It may work. There is a config file in the packages/apps/Bluetooth/res/values/config.xml.
Change the property profile_supported_a2dp_sink to true and check if it can work or not.

I guess your LCD television can not accept 720p resolution. Is it ok for you? Can you send me the kernel log and ...
