Booting NOOBS on Raspberry Pi 3 A+ for the first time

Hi, I recently purchased RPi 3A+ and I downloaded noobs, extracted it and transferred files to formatted sd card, put the card in the RPi and connected Rpi to monitor via HDMI and powered it on. Both red an green leds are on on the RPi but there is no output on the monitor, it switches from HDMI to ...

Re: FUll screen image display

Ok so Ive managed to change my pictures according to sensor state. First I have image0 for 1 minute before changing images1,2 and 3 depending on sensor state. My problem now is that although Ive managed to get a full screen window my image isnt filling it completly...and when I use smaller displays ...

Re: Rpi 3b wont load raspian after fresh install

Did you test both NOOBS and NOOBS Lite ? Do you really need to use NOOBS ? If you only need Raspbian, maybe download just the raspbian image and burn it to the card. The information that it works on other cards ( of the same size ? ) suggests that your card is a bit broken. I only tried NOOBS Ill t...

Rpi 3b wont load raspian after fresh install

Hello everyone, Im having trouble with installing fresh raspian (noobs) on the preloaded sd card (16gb sdhc with white and black raspberry logo on) I bought with my raspberry. It had older version of raspian on it and for myproject I needed new version so I formatted the card and tried installing ne...

FUll screen image display

Hi, I am wondering if its possible to run a script at startup that would output full screen images (image 0, 1, 2 ,3) depending on the state of the sensor? First image 1 would be shown for 3 minutes while sensor is heating up, then depending on sensor state (1, 2 or 3) I would like to display image ...

Re: ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

Its definitely GND Ive checked it out multiple times. Today Ive tried supplying sensor directly from PIs 5V and GND pins but the voltage on sensor was only 4.7V (in datasheet it says it has to be in the range of 4.8-5.2V). Ive tested it this way and sensor didn't respond to any pollutors Ive introdu...

Re: ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

Okey so the previous divider I soldered on protoboard but until I find out where the issue is Im using breadboard. on first picture you can see the sensor and the wires I use for it: Red one goes to 5V on Pi, black one goes to gnd on PI. Other ones are purple and go from A and B on sensor to breadbo...

Re: ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

At first I was using 10k and 20k to lower the voltage and after that didn't work I tried using 330 and 660 Ohm resistors. Ive also tried to do manual check without sensor, I used same script I use for sensor and used PIs 5V pins as an input to voltage divider, and used 3.3V and GND and connected the...

Re: ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

Ive been away for some time for several reasons but Im back now so I hope we solve this. Im not sure if its maybe a current issue, would it change anything if instead of 1kOhm and 2kOhm I use 330 and 660Ohms or smtg like that? Or maybe I try and use different combination just to get above HIGH logic...

Re: Displaying different images based on sensor state

Okey thanks for your help so basically I could just write a script and run it from boot with full screen image view via kiosk mode you've mentioned to do my program. Ill try that and let you know how it goes. Ive noticed the voltage level is 3.3V so Ill just make a voltage divider to get sensor outp...

Displaying different images based on sensor state

Hello everyone, Im new to raspberry pi as Ive done most of my projects on Arduino platform before. Still getting to know raspberry so this might be easy for most of you but I am wondering on a way I could make a script that would change between 4 different images based on the reads form GPIO pins th...

Problems with flashing img on SD card

Im trying to flash my custom android things image to sd card so I can boot it on raspberry pi 3 later and I am using android things setup utility to do so. The error occurs at validating, it comes to 100% and after that it shows this error: Validation error Error: error running etcher-cli: error run...

Re: ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

I know that sensor needs time to dtsrt working, as Ive said its been working quite well on arduino. Its getting power supply at 4.9V so that isnt the issue. When I spray.the air freshener the voltage on A and B gets up to cca. 4.85V and then for some reason after some time it goes down to 2.7V on bo...

ZP01 air quality sensor on raspberry pi 3b

Im working on some project and Im trxing to use zp01 sensor on raspberry pi to detect certain pollutants. The sensor has 5V and GND pins for supply A and B output pins that provide 4 states depending on polluzion: both pins 0, A=5V B=0V, A=0V B=5V and both pins 5V. Tested the sensor on arduino and i...
