Standard grep now has serious issues in ksh93 with the default alias from /etc/skel/.kshrc : alias grep='command -x grep' and returns exit code "1" on match. Thanks guys. I'll try hooking it up to another screen again i guess. I am using a micro-to-hdmi cable though, not an adapter, and a new one to boot. Not a long cable either. No idea what the issue is...

Dunno if anyone else is kinda tired of regularly reinstalling and reconfiguring the whole system and everything that entails, but if you are, like i was, feel free to try out this scriptsuite (focused on Media/Gaming applications) i wrote to somewhat ease these pains. So far, only tested on Raspbian...
