Re: Installation stalls at time syncro

I had the same issue tonight. I tried Pidora on a Rasperry with 256 MB of RAM, and I was blocked by the NTP screen. Then I tried the same cardon a Raspberry with 512 MB of RAM, and it worked perfectly.

I suppose that 256 MB is not enough for anaconda....

Re: USB/serial converters very broken on Pi

Hello, I saw that your patch was included in the last kernel on github https://github.com/Hexxeh/rpi-firmware/commit/c94e9807eb9534d46fb94a1bff39aa4c26c05b9d So i've updated to the last kernel with rpi-update, and removed the 'dwc_otg.speed=1' option. It works!!! I've no more crash with my FT232BL. ...

Can try to execute this command 4 or 5 time :
stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0

If it works without hanging the Raspberry Pi, tell me your secret!

Re: FTDI USB Serial Hangs [Solved]

I've done some other tests : The raspberry hangs easily when you do a 4 or 5 times the commande 'stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0'. It hangs on every USB to Serial Adapter I tried : Old FTDI, newer FTDI, PL2303... Does someone has an other ARM based computer to see if it's a Linux ARM kernel bug, or a Raspberry...

Re: FTDI USB Serial Hangs [Solved]

I'e tried with a PL2303 USB to RS232 adapter, and now I have the same issues than henriwagner had. It worked a couple of time and then the Raspberry hangs. Moreover, with my other USB 2 RS232 adapter (FTDI), I'm using a different software that keep the device opened. And I have not any problem with ...

Re: FTDI USB Serial Hangs [Solved]

I have the same problem with my automation system. I have 2 FTDI chips. One is working fine (RFXcom rfxtrx433), not the other (Lacrosse WS2300).

Stil no solutions now? Did someone try with a different kernel?
