The oven testing the SoC's goes through gives us a MTBF for chops run at normal temperatures. For PI1/2 this was over 30 years, Pi3 runs a bit hotter, so ISTR is slightly reduced, but I would expect at least 25 years from it. Certainly long enough for the majority of use cases.
