This is not true, you can get many modern games to work on a Pi, they just have to be ARM and Linux compatible, something the games OP wishes to play are not. Being modern or not is irrelevant in that sense. As an example, I use my P...

hello, i own a rpi 3B+ and i would like to play modern PC games on it. Your options will be relatively limited. What sort of games, can you name anything in particular? Most games you come across will be created for x86 based PC's running on a Windows Operating System, so will not run on an ARM bas...

Unfortunately... It actually depends on your monitor.
These steps won't work for all monitors, hence why you even see the bars in the first place.
It works on my Philips monitor Idk what type of monitor i have tho I just know it Philips and its flat.

Go to The menu, then preferences, then raspberry pi configuration. Step 3. Disable "Overscan" Step 4. Reboot. It should ask. Step 5. Enjoy not having the...

That link ('I used the following to build on my Pi3B+:') shows you how to get the code and build it !

Just copy the script from that thread and paste into a terminal window.

How to turn your pi into an NES and still use it as a computer

You can install an NES emulator (not retropie) and still have raspbian os on your pc.

1. install fceux by typing
sudo apt-get install fceux.

2. Download ROMS from a ROM site

3. Plug in a controller if you have one, otherwise a keyboard works
