Re: Surveillance camera based on BuildRoot and Motion

Any thought about supporting auto_brightness? A security camera running at night might benefit from this.

Re: Surveillance camera based on BuildRoot and Motion

Thanks for the consideration on the record button. I found how to change the email manually, I updated sendmail.py. I tried to compile the drive program I referred to in my previous post, but it would not run when copied over to the motion pie system. I ended up just setting up a samba server and th...

Re: Surveillance camera based on BuildRoot and Motion

I have set this up in our church for security and think it is awesome! There are a few things that I think would be beneficial to all and a few things that I would really like. I noticed that the install is pretty minimal, so I will probably need to build things with either a cross-compile or anothe...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I think your RPi Cam Web Interface is awesome. I am thinking of using it as a cheap multiple camera solution for my church. I am planning on having two pi's one in front and one in back. I figure an web page with both previews showing and then I can pick which one to record. I am testing and decide...

Re: Simple webcam reocrding

First, motion runs as the user motion by default. What is the path that you added. I also assume you want a continuous stream? Motion is mainly for motion detection. Can you post your motion.conf file? Have you looked at the motion website? I found it via a google search for "motion linux" and found...

Re: raspbian kernel alpha

So I downloaded this kernel and then the source so I could add the easycap driver. It seems that the easycap directory was empty. I copied over from a different source and then compiled the module. It seemed to compile OK, but I am now getting just a green screen. Thought I would post here to see if...
