Re: RPi 4 Buster No audo over HDMI
No, that was not to hard at all. One would surmise that this would be the logical assumption, although I have not yet run into anything where this was explicitly stated. It also may be that since I asked "how do I switch the HDMI ports", one might also assume that I already tried that with...

Re: RPi 4 Buster No audo over HDMI
This I understand but alsa doesn't even find my USB audio capture device. I installed pulse audio and at least I now have input from my stereo audio capture device. I still have no device listed as output for the HDMI.
How do I switch between HDMI-0 and HDMI-1?

Re: RPi 4 Buster No audo over HDMI
Wow! Is that it?
Question answered and no response!
This issue was posted back in July.
I have the same problem with the newest Raspbian on my new RPi 4B 2G. pulseaudio is not finding the driver for HDMI audio output.
Is this a problem that Raspbian has not been updated for the Rpi4 chip set?

Re: What would be the right OS for streaming with ffmpeg on a RPi4b?
I am reading about the new Raspbian Buster release. It says that it boots to a 32 bit kernel and than virtualizes a 64 bit kernel on top of that. Doesn't that create added processing overhead making the kernel 2 layers deep? Wouldn't I be better off using, perhaps, Ubuntu Mate 64?

What would be the right OS for streaming with ffmpeg on a RPi4b?
I need to create a stand alone streaming device to take the h264 IP camera output, decode it so that I can change the image window ( zoom in 50% ), encode it back to h264 while adding an external audio stream and feed it to Facebook in real time. I need an OS that offers the minimum CPU overhead and...

Re: E: Unable to locate package obs-studio
Raspbian runs on an Arm processor and a package has to be compiled for this architecture to be able to run. I have been looking around for such a build, myself, without any luck. You do not need OBS Studio to just stream a camera to YouTube. All you need is to create the right command string for ffm...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 : Transparent Bridge Between WiFi - Ether
Try https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/wireless/access-point.md , section 'USING THE RASPBERRY PI AS AN ACCESS POINT TO SHARE AN INTERNET CONNECTION' This link is for turning an rPi into an access point. This does not answer the question. He is asking how to create a WiFi to Et...

Re: Static fallback when no DHCP server
I'm sorry for posting this but I think that I'm going blind.
Did mattmiller just post the same code block for his solution as his original posted code block that he claimed didn't work?
(not a dig but just confused)

Re: Bluetooth Headphones Frustrations! :-/
I came here looking for the answer to what I think is this same issue. I am running OpenElec v8.0.4 for pi2 & 3. I have tried a number of different configurations of Raspbian and Kodi v17, all with the same result. I can connect my bluetooth earbuds to my rPi box but after a few minutes, the blu...
