Re: Slim OS Choice

I just got the word back that FusionPBX is platform agnostic, so the proof will be in the trying.

Re: Slim OS Choice

Currently, Freeswitch appears to be the best. They have an install script for Raspberry Pi, but it does not work. The best interface for Freeswitch appears to be FusionPBX. They also have an install routine that appears easy to use, based upon the video. It automatically configures Debian and instal...

Re: Slim OS Choice

Thanks everyone.

I have decided on Freeswitch with Fusion PBX. I just found out that it requires a minimum of Debian 9, so I guess that settles it. It also appears to need a graphical environment because it runs from a browser. Go figure.

Again, thank you all.

Slim OS Choice

I am looking for a very slimmed down version of an OS to install on my Raspberry PI 3 model B+. Does anyone know of all the choices that are currently available for that model? I would like to use it as a PBX, but can't be sure which distro to choose. Probably don't need a graphical environment, cor...

Re: Tresor

Is the firmware something that is supplied by the Raspberrypi organization?

Re: PoE Port Expansion

Thanks everyone. Much appreciated.

So I guess the only reason I got the HAT was just to have an Ethernet port to begin with. Obviously it is needed to connect with my VOIP provider anyway. Evidently I was reading into the situation something that didn't apply.

Thanks again.

PoE Port Expansion

I have the PoE HAT and wondered if it can be expanded to 2 or 3 ports. I would like to use my Raspberry to handle 2 or 3 IP phones and am not sure how to use the one port given.
