Re: A little help with owncloud

Hi Mark, ok, so let's start how I made it... First you got owncloud running perfectly on your Raspi, is this correct? So you can reach it via your local ip 192.168.1.7 and work with it, right? Then go into your router-setup and forward port 80 to the ip of your Raspi 192.168.1.7! Then get a dyn-dns ...

Re: Jemand da? Vorstellungsrunde

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

Can someone tell me, what the Hexxeh rpi-update does? Just changed the same SD to another Raspi and it boots up without HDMI and WLAN. Until now I thought, the SD is the only RAM/ROM on the Raspi. Is there another boot-flashmemory? I'm confused now completely... :shock: So either it's the WLAN-drive...

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

Ah ok, so it is a SD problem? I just setting up the same system on a SD which is marked as not working in the elinux-wiki hardware section, but it works quite well. BUT I don't want to try rpi-update on it and having the same issue again. I kept the first SD untouched, so if there will be a bugfix o...

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

@BigStuart
Thx for your reply... Just setting up a new system without performing the Hexxeh raspi-update and it works without HDMI, so it is definately the Hexxeh update.

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

Ok, the edit in config.txt didn't make it. After plugging in the power supply it flashes green about three times, then it does nothing. It doesn't start the boot sequence if hdmi isn't plugged in. Man, I hadn't this before and I don't know, what I can do...

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

@jdbennet ok, thx for your suggestion, had the same in mind already, but I'm still not so much familar with this Linux-stuff :roll: :lol: so I still need it for noobs. rpi-update isn't much difficult, but rpi-downgrade...oh man. Found the files of Hexxeh at github, but I see the cows at the hills......

Re: Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

@dom Could you tell me, where I have to put these lines in? Sorry, but I started my linux-career with Suse before but had a looooong brake, 'til now with the Raspi. uname -a says 3.9.1+ #202 PREEMPT Wed Jul 25 armv61 Had #168 or so before as far as i can remember. @jdbennet You're right, mine starte...

Starting the Pi without HDMI isn't possible after update

Hi there, yesterday I wanted to get my WLAN running and installed it. After some problems I thought I make a firmware-update via Hexxeh rpi-update and run it. All went fine...BUT: I run the Pi as a webserver and don't need a monitor, but after the update yesterday the Pi doesn't start without HDMI c...
