Re: Chromium for Raspberry Pi BETA

... I'm not finding instructions when I visit the link you have posted here. :?: Site was redesigned and old URLs are broken. From the author's very own blogpost: http://blog.hexxeh.net/welcome-to-2013 I'd still like to see Chrome on Raspberry Pi fly, but I don't have time for it at present, and I'...

Re: Debian Squeeze,2gb Card, "Not enough space on disk"

I have 2GB and 16GB. The latter one is frequently uses for other purposes. I would really like to use the 2GB as a boot. Will be there enough space to install drivers / upadates / some basic software? In other words: is the space is consumed by system internals? It musn't be a coincidence that all t...

Re: webcam - motion - Logitech C615

Thanks for replies!

One thing I've learnt: patience...
1) Will try when connected at boot
2) Will try unplugging USB hub (Currently C615 is connected directly)
Finally a combination of both worked: direct connection with only keyboard connected.

Now, with working setup time to move on! :)

Re: USB Camera Dongle - compatible model?

I am seeing something like 10 seconds between frames, and a delay of around 8 minutes. I suspect that this might be something to do with my software setup though, as it claims to be delivering 7+ fps, which would be quite acceptable for my purposes. Martian conditions, just like curiosity :) You we...

Re: USB Camera Dongle - compatible model?

The ASUS USB-N10 is not a webcam, it's a WIFI dongle. Of course you are right :) I just couldn't find EDIT button... Copied & pasted wrong link from: http://jeremyblythe.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/battery-powered-wireless-motion.html (nice project BTW) Point stands: dirt cheap disposable webcam... I gu...

[SOLVED] How to disable firewall on Raspbian? ping OK http F

Silly me.

When launching server node app.js specify 192.168.1.71 rather than 127.0.0.1 (it works now)

Was worth to wait till morning, it is so obvious with fresh mind.

How to disable firewall on Raspbian? ping OK http FAIL

Can ping but the server does not respond... Maybe it is firewall, maybe iptables, maybe something else... It's 4am and I cannot figure right now, hopefully for one of you it'll be piece of cake :) http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj226/stefek99/ScreenShot2012-08-04at040625.png How do I access RasP...

USB Camera Dongle - compatible model?

Search engine searches are flooder with official module being released :) Therefore asking here: what USB camera should I buy? Any ideas of hardware being most compatible? http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=8270 A USB webcam would no doubt be easier to use http://www.raspberrypi....
