Multiple servers behind the same IP address

I am trying something like this but I am trying to run 2 servers from home with only 1 IP address. I have 2 different domain names but cant figure this out. I know it is pretty easy because I have done it before. The web browser sends the name of the domain it is interested in with every HTTP reque...

IDK, maybe from the terminal. The GUI doesn't seem to provide any advanced options for configuring LDAP. It is not advertised, but you can also stick a full base DN in the "logon domain" field, and full user DN in "bind user" during installation. Does currently prepend "cn=users," to the base DN th...

Time from "power on" to login screen should be +/- 50 seconds for a piserver client. Certainly slower than SD card, but it definitely should not be 5 minutes. However, we see no reason why it should not work You have a USB hub chip that speaks PS/2 ??? we are USB compliant. The nature of passive adapters is that they do not convert anything. So the PS/2 signal provided to the USB connector will not be USB compliant. There are certainly keyboards and mice...

That seemed quite specific. We don't have access to the mentor to query whether they are aware of the RPiZero option. Would be something the student could ask though. Some people have come up with creative ways to try to handle the Pi losing ethernet connection, such as forcing it to reconnect with a background script. https://samhobbs.co.uk/2013/11/fix-for-ethernet-connection-drop-on-raspberry-pi That's a different problem being described there, related to a Pi...

The Ethernet MAC is set by the driver and based on the Pi's serial number. The built-in WiFi MAC is set the same way, but the bottom 48 bits are xored with 0x555555 to make it different to the Ethernet MAC. While the values are both derived from serial, I recall they are SET in different ways thoug...

BTW stuttering when using both Ethernet and a single USB DAC at the same time, has been reported before. PiServer and USB audio While that does not occur when playing back the audio through another bus (HDMI audio, I2S, etc.). But can imagine that not being an option when you have more than one DAC.

USB noise in the electrical sense, or simply not enough bandwidth when an USB Ethernet controller is competing with USB DACs that also need a fair amount receiving uncompressed audio?

Two concerns: 1) You now seem to have separate libraries for ARMv6 and ARMv7 systems. What about people that want to use same SD card or nfsroot for multiple type of Pi? 2) Currently when someone opens a chroot shell in the piserver GUI, piserver temporary renames ld.so.preload to something else whi...
