that would be useful.. though a hard cap on the _min values would be needed to keep the chip cool (It'd suck if somebody tried to be smart and put the _min values to the same as the OC values...)

Re: Farnell VS RS delivery times

My stats: Ordered from RS Online: 16 July (Estimated delivery time: despatch expected within 11 weeks) Canceled RS online: 5 Sept (at this point the estimated time of delivery, according to the list, was medio November, making it 17-18 weeks from order to expected despatch) Received Money back notif...

Re: Overclocking

Right, I'm loving this new overclocking thing, HOWEVER. as per the documentation, it states you can use the *_min settings to set the minimum values.... in my case I want to scale up to 950mhz, but always have it at 800mhz.... this, however, doesn't work (anymore?) cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/c...

Re: EmulationStation - an emulator front-end

Having one big XML for all systems is a bit chaotic, and is prone to human errors (people trying to add the same system twice because they failed to see the system in the list due to it's size).. also, from what I noticed, you still do file system walking with the xml files in use.. I would suggest ...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

I've started building a small Django app to create an index of all the roms I'll have on my PI; so if you decide on how you want to do the whole displaying of games in EmulationStation, I'll be more than interested in discussing/expanding on it, so my app can compliment EmulationStation in that way ...

Re: Order and Shipping update from RS & Allied

I am anxiously wating for my tracking e-mail!! :| :? Ok... One month and a week later, still no clue where my R-Pi is. [email protected], please HELP M...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

I think you didn't get the complete idea of what I was trying to explain; probably mostly my bad, as I shouldn't be trying to be creative at silly-AM. The idea is simple: 1) you keep the cfg file you already have in place, as such, have a per-game setting of command line settings 2) in that same cfg...

Re: RetroArch Emulator Frontend

To anyone looking for a simple front-end for RetroArch that doesn't use X, I present: EmulationStation ! I've been working on it for the past week or so. It's written in C++ and uses SDL, SDL TTF, and Boost.Filesystem. It can be easily configured with a list of "systems" - each with a name, search ...
