Re: How to run HDMI and Official Raspberry Pi Display (DSI) simu

Hi bs_pi Using the rpi3b+, they each do their own individual respective tasks, so the raspi2raspi does duplicate display for HDMI & DSI Touchscreen. Using the multiple framebuffer link by aBUGs, it interfaces the HDMI and DSI simultaneously, but I've been having issues with it due to not having the ...

Register Description for DSI Display

Hi all, I was wondering if someone had any info on accessing the address and registers for interfacing the DSI Display ports on the RPi 3B+ or on the Compute Module (esp. since it has 2 sets of DSI address: DSI0 & DSI1). I'm looking for a way to write to the address to force a display on those lines...

Re: How to run HDMI and Official Raspberry Pi Display (DSI) simu

Hi bs_pi I'm referring to the raspi2raspi program, the aBUGs one I've posted onto the thread mentioned I have looked at a previous post on this thread that does what I asked by changing the parameters (0->5 and vice versa) and setting the default framerate so it runs a bit more smoothly. It does wha...

Accessing the non-GPIO peripherals on Rpi 3+

Hi guys, I'm interested in building a driver that accesses the I/O of the non-GPIO pins of the Rpi. Is there a way to do this, such as accessing the hardware addresses and enabling the pins, even without having anything enabled on the line? I'm looking into enabling the display address but I don't h...

Re: Multiple Frame buffer beta testers wanted

Hi, thanks for the response! I've missed out on the xorg file, I've added that in to the etc/X11 directory, and I forgot to mention that I did enable start_x=1 in my config.txt file. I've booted into CLI and started the command as you mentioned, but no changes, still only see the rpi display on my m...

Re: Multiple Frame buffer beta testers wanted

Hello, I've decided to take this beta out for a spin as I am looking to have a display work on a custom DSI LCD. So far, I'm working with the Raspi Official Touch Screen and utilising this beta project, I get the following results. I've updated to latest rpi-update for Jamesh's files (4.14.61) and a...

Re: How to run HDMI and Official Raspberry Pi Display (DSI) simu

Hello, I am super excited to see this development happening, I'm running it with my monitor in HDMI and with an official Raspi LCD Screen in DSI and it works wonders! Can't thank you enough. I'm looking into expanding out to other DSI displays, I was wondering if this is possible yet? What I'm looki...
