Just curious, why did you chose sourceforge to mirror the code?

How does the lifting of the joystick part work? Just by tension on the string , surely not?

C'est bizarre! :)

Silly question, I see that whenever I press 5, it favorites the game by making it green on the list, but how do I switch to display just favorites? Did I miss something?

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

Hey pudding, filled a bug request but will post it here as well see if other people can reproduce this. What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Enable kioskmode in mame.cfg 2. launch mame 3. press escape What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It should remain in the games list, but ...

Aloshi, thanks for the reply.

I tried you suggestion and it works, one more question, what are you using to launch emulationstation directly on boot?

emulationstation --no-exit

Hey Guys,

Quick silly question, does the above work for you?

emulationstation documentation, and if I do emulationstation --help confirms, says that this should hide the exit option in the menu but I seem to always have it there regardless.

Can anyone try?

Re: MAME4ALL for Pi

@welshy, What Im asking is:

Is there any option to add to mame.cfg to bypass the "warning and nag screens"? Maybe something like skip_warnings = true

Or can this only be done by compiling from source?

Hope it makes sense.

p.s. Where does it look for the mame.cfg by default? under cfg/ ?

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

Hey everyone, I got three questions: 1 - Is it possible to remove the nag screens? There used to be an option in mame, if i recall correctly, that you wrote something like skip_warnings = yes and skip_gameinfo = yes to skip these, but this doesnt seem to work in retroarch. 2 - Does anyone receive th...

Re: USB Displaylink

Oh, and setting up Xinerama to use the new framebuffer through twinview (by editing a new file xorg.conf) does make it have dual screen. So you can have an extended desktop.

But obviously this doesnt help much since it crashes as soon as you open a website with images.

Re: USB Displaylink

Hi Ectra, Im stuck at the same stage. Loading up a page that is only text, doesnt make it freeze. I ran the same kernel, with ...

Re: USB Displaylink

Actually, I have, not inmensly but its a start. When you get the green screen, basically what happens is that you get a new framebuffer device, probably /dev/fb1 (on top of the normal one, /dev/fb0) Then, I found a command, con2fb that basically what it does is assign a virtual console to a frambefu...

Re: USB Displaylink

I managed to find some time and advance on this subject a bit. I found that the 3.2.0-3-rpi image on the repositories actually has the module activated. This means that I am now getting a green screen on my secondary screen (i.e. the adapter works perfectly. ). I am going to try to get either a term...

USB Displaylink

Hi, I have read a lot recently on UDLFB which is the module that makes USB Displaylink adpaters work. This modules was incorporated into the kernel since like 2.6 so, quite a long time ago, but it does not seem to be enabled by default in the kernel that ships with raspbian (or debian, or arch). So ...
