Re: Python with Minecraft in LAN

As you have discovered the .player functions only update the "host" player (or more accurately the player who joins the server first). Each player (and mob) is known as an entity and you can use the API to interact with all the entities on the server through their entity id. A couple of examples: Ge...

Re: Looking for a small hardware device to trigger a python script on my RPi

Have a look at BlueDot, its a Bluetooth remote and Python library.

https://bluedot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html

You can use an android phone or another Raspberry Pi as the remote.

Re: comunicate with bluetooth device by html page

Have a look at BlueDot. Its a Bluetooth remote and python library made for doing this. https://bluedot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ There is also a recipe for using BlueDot to turn on an LED. https://bluedot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/recipes.html#flash-an-led It may not be exactly what you are looking f...

Have a look Kivy, it's a X platform Python framework and works particularly well for touchscreen applications.

Re: GUIzero repeat loop interval time increases spontaneously

If this function redraws all the elements in the Deur and Licht Drawing objects each time it runs you could run the .clear() method at the start of the function which will delete all the drawing elements (rectangles, lines, etc).

Re: GUIzero repeat loop interval time increases spontaneously

Presumably Deur and Licht are Drawing widget objects?

You are drawing a lot of objects(rectangles, lines, oval) to them each time this runs. Are you ever deleting them or do you keep drawing them into the same widget?

Re: GUIzero repeat loop interval time increases spontaneously

It would be useful if you could post your complete program. Does it exist on GitHub (or similar).

Re: Python after the two Code Club Python modules

Not necessarily Python but have a look at the Coder Dojo projects and resources they might offer other avenues to explore.

Re: codecraft

Hi,

I have updated the CodeCraft project at https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects/codecraft to resolve this issue.

It was due to some incompatibilities with trinkets implementation of turtle.

Re: IDE For Python - Best One

"Best one" is a really difficult question. What is best for you might not be best for someone else. A lot depends on what you are doing and your experience level. As a beginner I would recommend either Mu or Thonny. If you want to see more about Mu and get to grips with it have a look at the "Gettin...
