Is my cam dead?

Hi guys, The other day my cam (Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2) that was attached to my monitor fell on to the desk, a fall of maybe 30cm. Since then I have had no connectivity to my camera module. When I type in the address, I get the error: "Error in RaspiMJPEG: Restart RaspiMJPEG (./RPi_Cam_Web_Int...

Re: Installing SSL on Raspberry Pi

Fixed it and learned a lot whilst doing it as always... Firstly, learned the difference between sites-available and sites-enabled in apache2 So, your website is located in: /etc/apache2/sites-enabled Locate and edit the .conf in the above location that has your website details ensure your certs are ...

Re: Installing SSL on Raspberry Pi

Thank you for your reply. Could you please explain in detail what do you mean by conf file for my site? I have included that here: I have also edited the file here: /etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl.conf with SSLCertificateFile /etc/apache2/ssl-certs/rapid***publickey.crt SSLCertificateKeyFil...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

So after hours of working on this problem... I worked my way through the logs on the system. I look through ufw logs and find that ufw is defn blocking the IP coming in from the inet (my phone IP) to the Rasp system. So I disable the ufw and restart the system. Test it from inet and works just fine!...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

There is still no joy. My victory was false as I realized that if I'm within my own internal network i can connect fine. However, if I'm on the internet I cannot connect to my Pi. Looks like my router is not forwarding. This is my router log: Jul 25 08:04:46 kernel: DROP IN=vlan2 OUT=br0 SRC=120.18....

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

If you installed in the default place (subfolder html web software in /var/www/html) and using the default port 80, then you access the camera by browsing to http://cameraIP/html where cameraIP is the ip address of your raspberry. If you were to install with a blank subfolder then the software is i...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hello, New to this forum and unsure if this is the right place to post my small issue. I have setup my cam and it was accessible until last night. However, this morning when I login all I can see is the "Index of /" folder and no cam in view. Could someone please explain how I can troubleshoot this?...
