Re: Library to develop 2D game?

Damn... That berryboot thing is driving me nuts. Its time to make the switch then. Ill try again later the SFML thing you linked (re-tried it just to be shure, it doesnt works as expected). With that in mind, should I install Raspbian "Gentoo" (the 64-bit variant) instead? 64-bit would be useful for...

Re: Library to develop 2D game?

Update: I dont like Godot.

They use a scripting language called "GDScript" AKA not C++
Their software is clunky (mouse doesnt shows, you cant play exported games)

Ill try something else. Ill post back if I find something.

Re: Library to develop 2D game?

Godot seems nice tho. Would an apt-get do the trick or do I have to build from source?

...Most of all... Do I need experimental GL Drivers? Theyre a nightmare for me. :?

Re: Is 5V 1A enough for Raspberry Pi 3 B+

If you think, like me, that the official power supply is a little too costy, just buy the northpada one (its 5v3amps).
Its *really* robust, Im been using it for 2 years now. :)

Library to develop 2D game?

Hello there. Ive been trying to make a 3D c++ game on the pi. Sadly, all of my tries didnt worked out. Tried out SDL, was way too slow. Found a workaround, but some "advanced" tutorials werent working anymore (particularly the ones using particles and stuff) Tried lots and lots of other things as we...

Re: Merge RAR files?

I got the same error I had before. Im only able to unpack the "nicoblog.url" file.... :? it is not -x, it is "unr...

Re: Merge RAR files?

What you aim to achieve sounds of questionable legal status I own the game, the thing is that my UMD player is broken. :) I just tried double-clicking the first archive. It opened in xArchiver, and I now see my 1.3GB file that I want to play. But when im trying to extract it, a wild popup told me" ...

Re: Merge RAR files?

Ive heard of this while searching for an answer. xArchiver doesnt seem to be able to do the job tho. I searched for a command to assemble them all but none of em worked. Its telling me stuff like "put all of the rar files in alphabetical order in a folder and rest is automatic". So... I tried unpack...

Re: The best library for a 3D game?

okay...
I took a peek at the OpenGLES example at /opt/vc.
Theyre great!

Sadly, theyre all coded in C, a language that I dont know.
Is it possible to use the libraries used in /opt/vc in my C++ programs, and perhaps, make a 3D cube spin?

Cheers.

Re: Record OpenGL window?

Anyone knows how to record openGL footage? https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/game-capture-hd60-s I believe an external unit is the only solution that will give a good quality recording. The piece of software I screenshotted is pretty good at recording (30fps footage). That elgato is just too pricy c...

Let's make sure you have GPU acceleration working properly with OpenGL first.
I dont want to touch those options. Its going to mess up my Berryboot configuration! Thanks tho.

Re: How to set 2 wordpress sites on a RPi with different domain names

You could open the first website to port 80 and the second one on port 81. It would then give you something like this:

port 80: yourwebsite.com
port 81: your-other-domain-name.com:81

Both websites should points to your IP adress.
