MagPi Layout feedback

Hi, the first 10 or 20 issues of the MagPi were very readable onscreen, regardless of the used device - I mostly used an iPad mini and a Linux Notebook with FullHD screen. Younger editions are getting always fancier, flashier designs. Maybe this looks great in print, but on screen it is getting wors...

... I followed the additional steps (most of them) in the OP. One didn't work: cp –ax /usr/share/themes/PiX ~/.themes You must use: cp /usr/share/themes/PiX ~/.themes -ax instead. ... Could someone please explain this? I used Unix-like systems since decades and never happened to see a "cp" backward...

I let my garden model railroad be controlled by the Raspberry Pi computer. The RPi is connected only via Ethernet to the LAN and via USB charger to power. That's it, for the hardware.
