Miflora plant sensor GUI & Python test script

Figured i would make something quick to test and display output of Milfora sensors. I only worked on it about an hour so if connection is not good there may be acouple bugs. Feel free to do whatever with it... EDIT: Your obviously going to need miflora download and btlewrap, also this is with python...

Re: Wireless soil moisture sensor

re water controllers... if you have a water counter wired to a tasmota device that controls the water on/off embed a rule in the tasmota device to turn off after X litres counted or set a time out (Plusetime variable) for example my pumps deliver 2l in about 30 seconds so my pump controllers are se...

Re: Wireless soil moisture sensor

Oh man, did you use that node red miflora yet? That's worst thing about programming but best at same time lol, you find one way to do something an then half way through you see another better way.... when I get home I'm going to try that on node red.

Re: Wireless soil moisture sensor

Well I already have a GUI to control and water plants via solenoids (25) and counter, as well as a GPIO controlled 120v plug outlets adapter.... It works flawlessly, however I need to check on them everyday vs having a moisture sensor check for me and if a condition of low moisture hits then it can ...

Re: Wireless soil moisture sensor

All my stuff is programmed via python script for pump/solenoid/counter... so as long as I can run python code as a final piece of the node... I'll use node to display and to get the sensor info. Then when sensor info hits low spot I can run python script to water an array of plants. Hopefully that h...

So I have the broker installed but not sure how to use it honestly. I know you can call a call back function when information is published. If you are willing to share any code that would be awesome, I could take it apart an ill understand it better. As for node red, I tries one day to look at it an...

im doing something similar now. kinda anyways... using flask to make python functions work with web server on my RPI.

not as easy as everyone makes it seem lol. it can get pretty involved and not all of it is in python. however, just setting one up takes like 5 minutes.

Re: Irrigation design

I wouldn't use a GUI for something you want. The pi isn't going to be used by anyone, just a script doing what it is supposed to... If wanted some sort of hands on use while away than I would save feedings and information the script does to a database and make a GUI for your phone or pc that you hav...
