Re: Loop full screen video

Wow that easy, so if I use ‘cron’ to trigger both Pi’s to start them at the exact same time (clocks synced), both looping the exact same length of video, will they keep in time over a period of say a week, or would they dift out of sync I wonder?

Loop full screen video

Can anyone help me solve this probably quite simple problem? I’m using omxplayer on the latest Pi’s with command: omxplayer nameof video.mp4 Objective I would like to run two short videos on two separate 7” screens (around 1260x600) at the same time full screen indefinitely looping. So I guess there...

Re: Multiple displays running simultaneously

Info Beamer looks interesting, yes I would really like a turn key solution with start and stop times to control the media players. Unfortunately I think your solution David is rather out of my budget as it has more commercial features than I require as a poor Artist. Also I will not have any interne...

Re: Multiple displays running simultaneously

Thanks for the suggestions, very helpful, I have looked at the Pi Wall before which is interesting. Just to clarify I intend to run 4-5 HD videos 30 or 60 FPS, one video on each Pi for each screen, the problem is as they are of the same footage (each slightly different treatment) and need to sync to...

Multiple displays running simultaneously

I’m looking for advice for a project that is running 4 x 17”screens simultaneously with different video footage on each screen. I intended to use a Pi for each one. Question 1) How can I sync them all to play the video footage at exactly the same time looping in sync (2 -3 min loop)? 2) I’m looking ...

Video displays with minimal leads

Hi all, I'm creating a multi video display piece for a small art installation (sculpture) I'm guessing I need a Pi for each display as they are playing different videos? I would like the Pi and any driver board etc hidden in the sculpture's base so they are not seen. I have considered hiding the pi ...
