Well, what would you do then? Apache kicks php to execute the index.php has has already in my case apikey check.. So no anonymous invokes using restful post json..

Somebody needs to have root privileges to kick the gpio..

user pi.pi apparently has all the .php files.. arethe permissions inherited, so index.php that uses other php files that needs the permission to hw?

hmm... See not the point, because I have set PHP error level to debug, so i can see everything on the webPage.. The error is the permission to /sys/classes/gpio/export or similar... So I understand that this needs some permission settings for apache either given in php code itself or set via console...

I have not created any groups, I only set owner to /var/www/html/ -r for pi.pi so that I can write into the published folder with pi user in SFTP.. How can motion be invoked to get single jpg, not mjpeg

stream_maxrate = 0 does not work, just stops the server when invoking it.

..So you feed +5v from power source and data from Zero?

I would TRULY recommend 74AHCT125 chip to rampUp 3.3v to 5V for NeoPixels. With this, user can use .... a lot of neopixles..
