Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hmm, I tried it with Stretch and got a very similar result (not precisely the same - I do get a non-empty status_mjpeg.txt file, but it always contains "halted", no matter what I do. I don't ever see a cam.jpg file). False alarm; I didn't have the camera enabled. When I enabled the camera and reboo...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Any chance you can try with Buster (perhaps with a different SD card)? In the meantime I've got a spare SD card and I'll give it a try with Stretch. Hmm, I tried it with Stretch and got a very similar result (not precisely the same - I do get a non-empty status_mjpeg.txt file, but it always contain...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hmm. Can you check the /dev/shm/jpeg directory? There should be a cam.jpg with an up-to--the-second timestamp, and also a status_mjpeg.txt - if you cat out that file it should say ready (or md_ready, or a couple other variants). /dev/shm/jpeg does not exist, but /dev/shm/mjpeg yes. There there is a...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Here the keypoint is that the program seems to work ok (I can jump to the several submenus), but the live image is replaced by a flicking icon. Flicking probably means that something is being refreshed, but the live image does not appear.... Now raspistill does not work, but I understand that this ...

Re: RPI Cam Web Interface problem

I have just installed the package on a Pi3B running Stretch. The installation ran smoothly with no errors but when accessing the web server, even that everything looks ok (the buttons jump to the several screens, etc...), the live image of the camera does not appear on the web browser. A flicking i...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Where can I put suggestions for improvement, can you put them somewhere on GitHub? Adding Web Push notifications would be great. For example when motion is detected a notification pops up and by clicking on it you can open the web interface. If you click on Help at the bottom of the preview page, t...

Hey geat program but i'm having trouble stopping it from launching on startup. Please someone help fast, also i am still a Pi noob so be nice :D The install modifies your /etc/rc.local file (this file is executed at startup). Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I just updated to 6.6.9, but that causes problems on my Stretch installation. I selected php7.0 for the installation on stretch but I still got the following error: raspimjpeg: /lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.28' not found (required by raspimjpeg) At the moment I can't update t...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi there. I'm using the new High Quality cam ( https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/new-product-raspberry-pi-high-quality-camera-on-sale-now-at-50/ ), but I get an awful amount of dropped frames. When i set the stream of the camera to 1280 wide, I only get about 50% of my frames and every movie I recor...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I've been using Rpi cam web interface for a few days now and it's been wonderful. However i noticed that when I record an image, the angle of this image is much wider than the angle of the stream preview in the main page. I would like to have this wide angle for the preview in the main page, but i ...

The camera module that I am using is already giving the source code in the following link: https://github.com/veyeimaging/raspberrypi/tree/master/veye_raspcam (it is based on raspicam) As far as I understood, I should modify the raspimjpeg, but I wonder if there is an easier way to do that (ie. ins...

Yes, it works by changing the parameters... but only on the command line as I said in my first post. Unfortunately, in web interface mode, no result. I'd also like to split the stream somehow so I can see the *same* live video through the RPi Cam Web Interface as before (capturing video and still images, etc.), but also pipe/tee the video stream to YouTube ... It looks like VLC ought to be able to do this.... I think you're on to something. A co...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

My problem is I thought the streaming images would be a little bit better quality. I am not sure if this is related, but I am also getting a problem where the camera freezes and I get an mmal: mmal_vc_component_enable: failed to enable component: ENOSPC error ... The freezing is probably unrelated....
