I am not sure I fully understand. The system call brk() is something given to us from the operative system. I mean, if I go to /usr/include/arm-linux-gnueabihf/asm/unistd.h the write system call is the 4th while brk is number 45. As you may see, there isn't a sbrk system call. My question actually s...

Memory allocation in arm on the Pi

Hi all, After I followed and completed the stanford compiler course (https://lagunita.stanford.edu/courses/Engineering/Compilers) I thought to give a try to write the back-end and the runtime system in ARM.
