NoIR camera not detecting motion on MotionEyeOS

I just set this up to try and catch someone thats been messing with my kitchen window but it's not detecting motion. I can physically see things moving on the stream, a cat keeps walking past, I've gone outside and walked around in front of the camera but it detects none of it. What am I doing wrong...

Trying to set up a security camera

I'm trying to follow this guide https://www.bouvet.no/bouvet-deler/utbrudd/building-a-motion-activated-security-camera-with-the-raspberry-pi-zero to set up a security camera but when I get to the "Istalling Motion" section and run this command wget github.com/Motion-Project/motion/releases/download/...

Thanks, I think that quadcopter battery only lasts for about 10 minutes of flight anyway so 25-30 mins should be fine

Raspberry Pi Zero, camera and quadcopter

I was planning on buying a cheap quadcopter with a camera just to mess around with and someone informed me that the cheapest option is to buy one of these http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_366866.html and attach a small camera to it with a rubber band but then I remembered I had a Raspberry ...

Re: Pi Zero in a PSP or GBA

Ah right, thanks. Sounds like it'll probably be easier and generally better to go with the PSP seeing as the screen I already have is one of those 4.3" car monitors and I know it fits perfectly and can be powered from USB. Will this work with the Pi Zero? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4-3-4-Wire-Re...

Pi Zero in a PSP or GBA

I am planning on putting a Pi Zero in either a PSP or GBA with a battery and touchscreen and whatever else and using it for emulators. I would prefer to use a GBA but I dont want to have to modify anything on the outside of the console, it needs to look exactly like a GBA so my question is: Does any...

Small screens

I'm not sure if I'm just missing something completely obvious but the Pi Store seems to be nearly impossible to use with small screens like my 4.3" one which just seems rather odd seeing as small car screens seem to be quite popular with the Raspberry Pi

USB Sound Card

I bought this USB sound card http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002FI7GWK/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00 And I commented out the "options snd-usb-audio index=-2" in "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf" like everywhere says but I'm not getting any sound. When I type "aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Cente...

I bought that 4.3" one from eBay but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this kind of thing so would someone be able to point out what needs removing and what needs soldering where from this picture? I can get a better/clearer picture if needed http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn181/gwynhelek/IMG...

Load emulator games from CD/DVD?

I am planning on turning my Pi into a retro console with various different emulators such as NES, SNES, GBA, PS1 and so on. Thanks but that didnt work for me.
I did solve the problem though, I just changed the resolution height until it was right at the top of the screen and then messed with the right/left/bottom overscan settings. probably should have tried that first
