Re: STICKY: The I2S sound thread.

Which kernel driver are you using? Codec drivers like spdif_rx support 16bit, 24bit (S24_LE) and 32bit (S32_LE, added to spdif-rx in kernel 4.16) and this is working fine - I've used 24bit recording with the Cirrus Logic audio card. Hi Hias/all, just red what you mentioned about the 32 bit support....

Re: STICKY: The I2S sound thread.

Hello! I'm right now applying a DSP to the Raspberry via I2S. I'm using a modified simple card overlay as posted a few pages before. The DSP runs in I2S master mode and provides the clocks for the raspberry. Therefore I configured the codec to be the master. That's the code I'm using, all needed mod...

Generic I2S Audio Driver

Hi, I'm trying to use the I2S audio output of the Pi as an input for a DSP. I was wondering if there isn't a generic driver/software device to simply use the I2S output (without any configuration via the I2C interface) ? What I would need: - 48 kHz sample rate - 24 bit - 3,072 MHz Bitclock (64 x fs)...
